10 years ago, I had full-incision double eyelid surgery and epicanthoplasty. I asked for it to look natural, but they made the line high, so it wasn't natural. For several years, it was very obvious. Now, at the 10-year mark, it has become extremely natural, and I'm very satisfied now. The line is somewhere between an in-out line and an out-fold line. I had severe asymmetry between my eyes, and it is a bit disappointing because it seems like double eyelid surgery alone cannot completely correct uneven eyes. Epicanthoplasty definitely looks more obvious than double eyelid surgery. If you only do double eyelid surgery, I don't think it is very noticeable, so if you want a natural look, it may be good to think carefully about epicanthoplasty. Still, your eyes definitely get much bigger if you do epicanthoplasty.
