I had incisional eye surgery + under-eye fat repositioning + under-eye fat grafting at AB Plastic Surgery, and it has finally been exactly 1 year. When I first had the surgery, I didn’t know time would pass this quickly, but before I knew it, the stabilization period had completely passed, and now my eyes look so natural, as if they were always mine, so I’m living every day feeling satisfied. Before surgery, I had monolids and a vaguely defined line, so I was always unhappy with them, and my under-eye area looking tired was a complex for me. So after a lot of thought, I had the line clearly refined with an incisional method and corrected the under-eye fat at the same time, and now I have none of those complaints at all. Now that 12 months have passed, of course there is no swelling or discomfort at all, and the double-eyelid line has settled stably, so it completely feels like my original eyes. Every time I look in the mirror, I naturally think, “So this is why everyone gets eye surgery,” haha. More than anything, the biggest change is that my confidence when taking photos has really changed. In the past, whenever I took photos, there was always something about my eyes that felt disappointing, but now I actually enjoy taking photos. Director Song Cheon-ho shaped the line delicately, so opening my eyes has become more comfortable, and I often hear that my impression looks much softer and brighter. It was really fascinating that one surgery could change my impression this much and that I could still maintain such satisfying results even after 1 year.
