After receiving LASEK surgery, I’m really satisfied that my vision has been corrected clearly and that I can live without glasses or contact lenses. Especially when swimming or exercising, being able to see well without glasses has made things much freer and more convenient. However, the dry eye that developed after surgery feels like the biggest drawback. I have to use artificial tears often, and when my eyes are dry, my vision becomes blurry or they feel gritty, so it is often uncomfortable. Still, overall, it’s true that the vision correction effect is excellent and my quality of life has improved greatly. If dry eye can be managed well, I think LASEK is a good option worth considering.
