Satisfaction Now, one month after surgery, I still have a lot of facial swelling left, and sensation has not returned around my lateral cheekbones and the front of my jaw. But when I look at my side profile or see my jawline from the front, the improvement in my protruding mouth and asymmetry is very noticeable, so my satisfaction is high. However, because of the swelling, when viewed from the front, the overall facial contour still does not look neatly refined yet, so I think I need to give it a little more time. I still cannot imagine at all what it will look like once the swelling has completely gone down, so the waiting time feels half worrying and half exciting. The one month of recovery was really hard, but now that a month has passed, when I look at my face, I only think that I am still glad I had the surgery.
