I still have my retainer in place and am doing well. At one hospital, I had cavity treatment (including root canal treatment), orthodontic extractions, and wisdom tooth extractions (even impacted wisdom teeth) all done, but I heard other orthodontic dental clinics tell patients to get each procedure done elsewhere and come back. The orthodontic treatment period was 2 years and 1 month, and I had 4 teeth extracted, one each from the upper and lower teeth on the right and left, and they also pulled with screws.
