For my first surgery, I didn’t know much and just went ahead after seeing an event at a large hospital. A year later, the silicone became inflamed, so I needed to have it removed For the second surgery, they removed the silicone and used ear cartilage, but my nose became shorter and lifted so that my nostrils show, so I’m considering revision surgery.. I really want this to be the last one, so I’m thinking of using autologous costal cartilage. But at a clinic specializing in revision rhinoplasty, they said AlloDerm for the nasal bridge + autologous costal cartilage for the nasal tip, and I really like the design too. I’ve heard AlloDerm gets absorbed, so I’m worried it might become a hump nose again
furi If it’s autologous costal cartilage, I don’t think you need to worry too much..
윤아SK Since they mentioned AlloDerm, it seems like they may need to add coverage to the skin, so how about going to a few more consultations? I had revision rhinoplasty too, and when I did it at Finish, they used autologous costal cartilage. They said the implant might show through the skin, so I chose not to use silicone and did it without an implant. Of course, if you want a more dramatic nose, that’s a different story, but if you’re worried, it might be better to go completely implant-free.
소리소희 This is similar to me; I was like that too, but as time goes by... my nose keeps lifting, and it feels like an upturned nose + piggy nose lol ;; The nasal tip is important, so I’m thinking of using rib cartilage. I’m looking at places that are good with rib cartilage and handle a lot of contracture cases, but seriously lol my hands shake the whole time I’m searching reviews and I feel like I’m going crazy. It’s B, Chamin, and The Hada had the most reviews with noses similar to mine, but compared with me, all of them are mild cases lololol sigh, what should I do
acfxzf If I do it this time, it’ll be my third revision surgery. If I use ear cartilage, will it get absorbed and lift again..? I wanted to avoid using rib cartilage as much as possible, but I’m wondering if I should think of this as the last time and use rib cartilage
