I’ve basically made up my mind for sure now about having everything removed, but this cartilage suturing is driving me crazy. Whether to do cartilage suturing or not, absorbable thread or non-absorbable thread... why are there so many things to decide? For my nose tip, I only had ear cartilage stacked on an ear cartilage strut, and I had alar base reduction. I think I probably also had nostril wing reduction, but those last two can’t be restored anyway. When I think about the fact that I had alar reduction, I wonder if cartilage suturing is the right thing to do, but then my original nose was kind of a bulbous/butt-like nose, and I’m removing it out of anxiety even though there’s no inflammation or contracture, so I also wonder if it’s right to leave thread behind. Even with absorbable thread, people say they developed inflammation and stuff lol. Ah, I’m going crazy...
