Since early this year, I’ve been looking into closed rhinoplasty, so I made consultations and went to what seem to be famous closed-rhinoplasty options: B&Young Kozelko / Nana Angel Nose / Baroko Yeonip Nose. I wanted to decide on my nose surgery after getting consultations at all three places, but honestly, the B&Young consultation was only available in January 2027, so I had half given up. But I kept refreshing Naver Place on weekday mornings, and a cancellation slot opened up, so I went right away. Now I can compare all three. I thought my mind would be made up after visiting all three, but I’m still a little undecided..! So I’m writing down my consultation reviews, and I also want to hear real reviews from people who actually had surgery at each of the three places, whether you recommend them or not!
1. B&Young Kozelko First, booking is hell...! It seemed like reservations are backed up for about two years right now. Honestly, I wasn’t even thinking about surgery before, but this place made me think that if it could be this natural and recovery could be this fast, it might be worth trying. So this was the place I most wanted to consult with. I had made a reservation this spring, and when I was told it would only be possible in January 2027, I was almost half giving up. But while I was refreshing Naver Place every day whenever I had time, I luckily found an opening, dropped everything, and went for the consultation right away! The clinic was located somewhere between Sinnonhyeon and Gangnam, and the building and interior were ordinary. Even though I had a reservation, the wait was pretty long. After waiting quite a while, I started the consultation with the consultant, and wow.. the price came out much higher than I expected. I had thought maybe around 1-2 million KRW, but I realized that was a completely unrealistic amount. For now, they recommended dorsal hump shaving + cartilage tying + removal of the existing threads from the Hiko nose procedure I had before + Kozelko, and the price was around the cost of a revision open rhinoplasty. I wondered if it was expensive because I had threads from the Hiko procedure and also had a dorsal hump.. After that, I had the consultation with the director. Maybe because consultations were really backed up and piled up, he looked tired. He has a smiling face, but he consulted with me with a subtly tired-looking expression, told me only exactly what was needed, and I think it ended within 10 minutes. It didn’t feel super clear or confidence-inspiring, but I was a case where I gained trust from the many reviews, so after the consultation my interest went from about 100 to 85? Because the reviews are so natural and good.. I thought I should consult with the other two places and decide. If the prices at the other two places were similar and they didn’t completely grab me, I figured I would still do it here, so I booked a surgery date, paid the deposit, and left! They said if I cancel at least a week before, it’s refundable and safe.
2. Baroko Yeonip Nose The second place I went for consultation was Baroko. Baroko was near Gangnam Station, and the facilities were clean. I heard this place is also famous for functional nose surgery, so I got a functional nose consultation too. I paid 10,000 KRW for the CT scan, had it taken, and then had the consultation. The wait wasn’t long. I consulted with the consultant, and the price was higher than I originally expected, but because I had built up some tolerance from B&Young, it wasn’t that shocking. I thought the price was fairly okay, then proceeded with the director’s consultation. The director explained things in a way that was really easy to understand. Looking at the CT, he said my nose was blocked for these reasons, and because of this and that, I probably had trouble breathing. But to fix that, it would need to be done open, and since I was currently considering closed surgery, he said for the functional nose part, it seemed only rhinitis treatment that can be done closed would be possible. Unlike B&Young, this place seemed to crush and mold cartilage and use it even up to the nasal bridge! So I thought people with a low bridge might like this instead of silicone. (I don’t know whether B&Young can also use cartilage on the nasal bridge, because I didn’t ask about the bridge.) Overall, the consultation was better, but there still aren’t as many reviews that really grabbed me compared with B&Young, so I’m tornㅠ... If there were more photo reviews and video reviews, the consultation was better, you know..
3. Nana Angel Nose Lastly, first of all, the location was right in front of Apgujeong Rodeo Station, so accessibility was truly the best. Since they use the whole building, it somehow felt luxurious, and the interior looked more like a hotel than a plastic surgery clinic. For a moment I thought, “Did they acquire a hotel and turn it into a clinic?” It was so pretty, I liked it. The reception staff were also very kind, so my first impression was really good. Among all the clinics I’ve been to so far, I think this place had the best interior and first impression. After waiting a little, I was assigned a dedicated consultant, took nose photos, and started the consultation. I had only gone after seeing the event price for Angel Nose, you know? But the consultant told me it might be good to add cartilage tying. She wasn’t pushing excessively. Rather, she explained that Angel Nose feels more like a procedure than surgery, and because it uses autologous cartilage, there may be some absorption later. So she said to think of it as a slight, natural improvement like filler. In a good way, she was speaking realistically without exaggeration, but in a bad way, I also wondered whether that meant they weren’t very confident about the effect. Then I had the consultation with the director. Instead, he said if I did cartilage tying, my already narrow nostrils could become narrower and look more upturned, so it would be better to tie only slightly or leave it out altogether and just insert cartilage. The consultation definitely became simple, so I was like, huh? Is this place too honest? Overall, rather than strongly recommending things to make money, it felt like they only talked about what was really necessary, so I liked that. Closed Angel Nose seems like something to think of as just a procedure-level treatment, and they seemed to tell you only exactly what’s needed. I was really satisfied with the consultation experience, but because they kept emphasizing filler-like naturalness, I thought, “If that’s the case, do I really need to have surgery? Or should I just do open surgery?” So I put it on hold for now and I’m thinking about it.
