After many twists and turns, I finally had surgery My surgery was at 5 yesterday I got to the hospital a bit early and waited, and even when the nurse called me and I went to the changing room? I was calm But once I actually went into the operating room There was an operating table like I’d only seen on TV, and IV drips and all that, so it was a little scary ㅠㅠ In my 22 years of life, this was my very first surgery.. I lay down on the operating table and saw the lights above me, and only then Ah, it really hit me that I was having surgery Before the doctor came, the nurses gave me various injections, put something on my finger to measure my pulse... I kept feeling scared and nervous, so I was asking the nurses all kinds of things, and then the doctor came When he came, I think he probably gave me a sedative for sleep anesthesia But for some reason I just wouldn’t fall asleep --;;; The doctor asked me this and that to see if I was asleep, but I answered everything right until the end... haha In the end, they just started the surgery.. ㅠㅠ I think they were doing local anesthesia on my ear They said it would hurt a bit, and then with the injection, just ㅠㅠㅠ I think I got about three shots.. It was re~~~~~~~~~~ally painful ㅠㅠ Anyway, I could hear a little sound when they were taking the ear cartilage And I stayed awake throughout the entire surgery.. But it didn’t hurt, and I did feel a little pulling sensation But I was even joking around with the doctor ;; lol It was actually kind of fun.. Maybe it was because I was under the influence of the anesthetic Thinking about it now, I think I said a lot of useless things like a total chatterbox .. (about my boyfriend?) so embarrassed lolol Anyway~ after the surgery was over I rested in the recovery room (my teeth felt numb too..) and looked in the mirror. I thought my face would be really swollen right after surgery, but it wasn’t like that~ haha I looked expecting to look like a monster, but instead my eyes looked a bit bigger, like I’d had epicanthoplasty, so I liked it lol Then I took my mom’s car home And around the time we were almost home, the anesthesia slowly started wearing off It was still pretty bearable But I lay down in bed to sleep early, and from around 11 p.m. it really started hurting sooooooooooooooooooooo much ㅠㅠㅠㅠ I kept doing cold compresses... It hurt so much I couldn’t sleep... I dozed off and woke up for maybe three or four hours?? Still, fortunately, when I read other people’s reviews, they said breathing was uncomfortable, but I had no problem breathing, and just my ear, the area between my eyebrows, and the tip of my nose hurt a lot ㅠㅠㅠㅠ Anyway, I guess I eventually fell asleep.. When I woke up, thankfully my nose didn’t hurt at all My ear still hurt a little though.. But my eyes were extremely swollen... nowhere else, just my eyes..-- At first I couldn’t even open my eyes at all.. My mom teased me saying I looked like Cats.. haha Now the swelling around my eyes is slowly going down But it seems like that swelling has moved down to under my eyes and my cheeks.. My face has become a total full moon haha Right now it’s covered with a splint and tape, so I don’t know what my nose will look like, but I hope it turned out pretty~~~^^ But the doctor said he would make it natural, and I wanted that too, so I only raised it by 3 mm, but I also wonder if I should’ve done more... Even now it doesn’t seem that high.. - -;; Once the splint padding and swelling go down, it’ll get even lower.. - -;; Still, surely it’ll be higher than my old nose, right???ㅠㅠ Thank you for reading my long review Let’s all become prettier^^ Fighting~^^
