I finally had the nose surgery I had been thinking and thinking about on June 5.. I got information through a community, went around doing footwork and received consultations in person, and the result of several months that were truly hard work, if you can call it that, finally came true... I’m writing a few lines from before surgery to after surgery so I can share information with everyone here. The surgery was on Friday, June 5 at 10:30 a.m. They told me the precautions in advance by phone. They said to fast on the morning of surgery, and for women, since you wear nail polish, to remove it all before coming. Also to come with a bare face.. They checked whether I was taking blood pressure medication or any other medications, etc. I arrived at the hospital by 10.. had a final consultation with the doctor, and they took photos then too.. probably for the before photos lol They took two photos, one from the front and one from the side. Then after I was informed how the surgery would be done, I went into the operating room. They told me to get up on the operating table, and I don’t know why I felt so anxious and nervous. At that moment I really thought it over dozens more times.. Once you get on, it’s hard to change your decision again. I took another deep breath, got on, and lay down. They put in an IV.. (maybe it was hard to find a vein, but they stuck and pulled it out several times.. I got a bit irritated then..ㅠ.ㅠ) They tied everything tightly so I couldn’t move, from my feet to my pelvis and wrists. They tied me so tightly.. it felt like my blood wasn’t circulating. A few minutes later the doctor came in, gave local anesthesia to my ear, and removed cartilage. Only the anesthetic injection stung a little, and after that it didn’t hurt. Now it was time for sedation anesthesia.. You’re asking if nose surgery is done under sedation anesthesia? That’s not it. They give local anesthesia to the nose, and because that process hurts, they said they sedate you first and then give local anesthesia to the nose. So they injected the sedation anesthetic into the IV, and my arm started feeling stiff and sore.. But what is this o.o oh my god~~ My arm kept hurting and the anesthesia wasn’t working...ㅇㅂㅎ They had placed it in the wrong vein.. In the end, the needle inserted in my left arm was reinserted on the right side, and they finally succeeded with the sedation anesthesia~ When I woke up, the local anesthesia had already been done on my nose. From then on, the actual nose surgery began, and you can hear the sounds so realistically.. Time passed so slowly.. Cutting, inserting, stitching~ But it wasn’t as painful or agonizing as I thought.. I thought, was it only this much? I could do this little thing twelve times, lol After finishing the 2-hour surgery, I stopped by the pharmacy, bought medicine, and went home, go go~ Aside from struggling a bit because the sedation anesthesia didn’t work, I think the surgery went smoothly.. I want the swelling to go down quickly and see my prettier nose.
