Until yesterday, I went around to consultations at 5 places for revision rhinoplasty, and I'm torn. It's been over 10 years since my first surgery with silicone + ear cartilage, and for the past few years, I could visibly see an inflammatory reaction around the nasal bridge and the nasal tip drooping. I also wanted to address my rhinitis symptoms, so I went for consultations, but I have to choose by the weekend and I'm conflicted. For reference, when I had a CT at ㅁㅂ Clinic, they said it was too mild to call it septal stenosis, and that I didn't necessarily need rhinitis surgery. However, the other 4 hospitals said to do it if it bothers me. 2 ENT clinics (ㅇㅍㄹㅅ, ㅇㅊㅂ), 3 plastic surgery clinics (ㅁㅂ, ㅁㅇㄷ, ㅌㅇㅅ) ㅇㅍㄹㅅ: silicone + autologous costal cartilage + ear cartilage + septum + inferior turbinate + nasal valve ㅇㅊㅂ: silicone + autologous costal cartilage + ear cartilage + septum + inferior turbinate ㅁㅂ: silicone or Megaderm + autologous costal cartilage + ear cartilage ㅁㅇㄷ: silicone + autologous costal cartilage + nasal bridge osteotomy + ear cartilage + inferior turbinate + alar reduction ㅌㅇㅅ: silicone + autologous costal cartilage + ear cartilage + inferior turbinate + nasal valve After hearing so much information, I'm confused, but all the consultations were over an hour, and each place has different strengths, so I'm torn. ㅇㅊㅂ worries me because it's an ENT clinic, but the consultation was quite serious, so it felt trustworthy. ㅁㅂ seriously analyzed my nose and told me my nose would be fine even without rhinitis surgery. They recommended Megaderm, so that gives me some pause, but the consultation with the consultant + doctor was good. Compared with that, at ㅁㅇㄷ the doctor's consultation was short, there were many surgery items, and the hyperbaric oxygen + aftercare were good, so the price was the highest, but I still put it on my final list. Everyone, which hospital do you think I should choose?
더망 Who did you get the consultation from at ㅁㅇㄷ? Since it's revision surgery, it must be difficult Try thinking about the place that seems to match well with the direction you're aiming for.
