It's been a little over a month since my nose surgery. From when the splint was removed, the silicone implant was slightly crooked to the right, but just looking at it, you have to look closely to notice, and most people don't really know if they just glance at it. But when I touch it, I can feel the asymmetry, so I told the doctor, and they said to keep pushing the silicone implant to the right with my hand.. (My columella is slightly tilted to the right) I'm still continuing to push it now, but I'm so worried about whether I can just leave it alone, or whether it's okay to keep pushing it.. Has anyone here experienced this??? I'm also considering revision surgery after 6 months.
익명 I watched a video of some YouTuber getting their nose surgery splint removed, and when they said it seemed slightly crooked because they had bumped it somewhere, the doctor did correct the nasal bridge with their hand... They said if the nasal tip is crooked, you need surgery, but nasal bridge silicone is okay.
qwer999 When the doctor pushed it with their hand, it really hurt so much I almost cried, but it's not just a one-time thing.. If I keep pushing it with my own hand, wouldn't it cause inflammation.. Will it be okay..
Lalaby Oh, I'm really against pushing it. Until about the one-month mark it isn't fixed in place yet, so I think the doctor is pushing it to align it, but I don't know if that will actually make it align, and if the implant lifts away from its position, that space is perfect for inflammation to develop.
