Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

My 4th nose surgery is the worst ever

Hoohoo, on 8/28 I had my 4th revision surgery, and my priority was wanting to do it safely, so I went to a doctor’s hospital who was famous for things like going overseas for volunteer work and performing miraculous surgery on a baby’s head. I wanted improvement of the upturned look, the nasal bridge, and the silicone showing through at the nasal tip, and I showed them a photo of a straight nose. The doctor’s consultation was over in 5 minutes, and the consultant was kind and showed me photos too, consulting with me for about 40 minutes? So I decided I should do it at this hospital and went ahead, but they kept recommending autologous costal cartilage, so I thought, ah, they must be recommending autologous costal cartilage because it’s good for revision surgery, and I set a date and came home. The next day, because the consultation with the director was short and I felt uneasy, I called and said that on the day of surgery I wanted to discuss autologous costal cartilage with the director and decide, and they said okay. They told me to come by 9:30 for surgery, but when I got there, a double-eyelid surgery patient was also waiting. I felt uneasy that they had told two people to come by 9:30, so I asked the consultant, and they said double-eyelid surgery would be over in an hour and that I would go in slowly. But then why did they book me for 9:30?? In the end, I went into the operating room about 15 minutes later.. I also booked Accu laser treatment for 2.5 million won, 2.5 million lol Nose surgery 11 million won, total 13.5 million won, with a 500,000 won discount, 13 million won. The result is just devastating.. For the nasal bridge, they only put in autologous dermis, so it all got absorbed and there is basically nothing. The nasal tip was pulled straight out with autologous costal cartilage, so it looks like Pinocchio, and the inside of my nose is a mess.. 3 days after surgery, the inside of my nose was all ragged, so when I asked, they told me to come back to the hospital. They said they would need to re-stitch just about two stitches. (A nurse diagnosed it and a nurse stitched it.) Even after removing the stitches, I complained that I could hardly breathe and visited the hospital, and after a CT scan, my nose was so swollen there was no space to breathe. I could also feel the nasal tip collapsing. From the nose shape onward, everything was a mess, so I cried and told them, and while scheduling revision surgery, they said they would also make it easier for me to breathe. I had already lost trust in the hospital, so I said I wanted to have revision surgery at another hospital. I said the laser was unlimited for 2.5 million won, so I wanted to pay the price of just 1 session, and they said 1 session is 2.5 million won and the sessions after that were service. For the nose, they said they didn’t block my nostrils, and because there is no such thing as not being able to breathe because of nose surgery, a refund was not possible, but as a special case they would refund up to 50%, 5.5 million won. No matter how much I thought about it, it felt unfair, so I talked about the inside of my nose being ragged and the nurse stitching it, the fact that I had surgery on 8/28 and said it seemed like stitches were still left so they removed them again on 10/5, that I wanted a straight nose but it’s semi-mushroom shaped, that the nose looks slightly crooked, that it is collapsed, and that they made the columellar cartilage too thick so there isn’t enough space to breathe. I said I wanted to receive 70%, but they said no. Ha.. I don’t want revision surgery at that hospital, and 5 million won feels so unfair. Breathing is hard too, and when I look from the side, the nose shape really makes me tear up immediately...
