#. Why I got surgery Um, honestly I don’t know where to start, but chronically, I had a pretty severe complex about my appearance. My protruding lower jaw was severe, and because of my appearance with Class III malocclusion + severe obesity, I was bullied and teased a lot throughout school. It was really hard. I was mentally exhausted too, and my self-esteem had been completely shattered for a long time.. I think you can understand it as, at that time, the only option I had was getting on the operating table. Since this had been there since I was young, since I was born. Weight is something you can lose, but your jaw doesn’t go in just because you lose weight, so I don’t think I had any other choice. I really decided on double jaw surgery thinking of it as survival plastic surgery.. I think I made the decision with the mindset that no matter what result came, I would never look back. At that time, I had double jaw surgery plus 2 types of facial contouring surgery! #. How I felt after surgery, overall review (from here on, I’ll write casually in a clipped style!) 1 month after surgery// After experiencing the weight just falling off while drinking New Care, even when I reached the point where I could eat to some extent, I barely ate solid foods and kept living on an extremely restricted diet. And 3 months// My weight itself was at a plateau, but it was when the swelling from double jaw surgery was going down quickly, so my face kept getting slimmer day by day. 4 months// When I wore heavy makeup / when I was bare-faced, my face shape had definitely completely changed, so even without doing heavy makeup, I felt like I had become prettier just from the overall vibe, so that was when my satisfaction with myself grew a lot.. And the long-awaited 6 months// It was the month I had been counting down to.. lol When I went for my follow-up with the doctor, they took a CT scan and showed me my pre-op photos, and honestly, even to me, the difference before and after surgery was so huge.. I watched the whole follow-up while grinning the entire time. Then the doctor said it wasn’t 100% complete yet, but about 90% complete, so it would be good to keep watching until 1 year. They said that way, things like facial expressions would become more natural too. Anyway, rather than 6 months being the stable period, I guess with double jaw surgery, the real beginning is from 6 months. And recent update// Before surgery, because of my face, I was always unconfident in front of people, and I often received unpleasant looks for reasons I couldn’t understand, but now I don’t have to feel those humiliating emotions anymore, and I feel like I’ve gained enough room in my heart to embrace even the self I had been turning away from, so my satisfaction with the surgery is on the high side. If it’s someone who wants to get double jaw surgery because of their own greed even though everyone around them is trying to stop them, I don’t know, but if it’s a case like mine, where you suffered from jaw-related stress from birth, I don’t want to discourage you at all. Rather, I think I’d want to support you. That’s how I feel. You can never really know someone else’s life unless you’ve lived it, right? But when deciding on a hospital, please look into it with great care, and if it seems like the hospital doesn’t have much surgical experience, I hope you ignore it and leave without looking back..! (I felt like incidents and accidents usually happen a lot at newly opened places, so I avoided places that hadn’t been open long as much as possible.) For reference, when I looked into hospitals, -whether the doctor was a specialist in oral and maxillofacial surgery -whether they had many surgical cases.. It’s even better if they show various before-and-after photos. Simulations are good too, but that’s different from whether they are actual surgical results. -the doctor’s career and education (if it wasn’t SKY, I excluded it entirely.) These were the main criteria I used.. It’s not the right answer, but I’m writing this because I thought that if you at least check this much, there probably won’t be a surgery failure! That’s it for my review. I hope everyone here gets all the results they want and that only happy things fill your lives! Living in a world obsessed with appearance is seriously infuriating.. lololol But honestly, my life after surgery changed so much and the satisfaction I feel is also huge.. So for me, I thought, “It was a surgery worth having.” So I hope that kind of satisfaction comes to everyone who wants to become prettier too, and because of that, I hope you can spend each day a little better! Everyone, be happy and let’s become prettier!! haha Also, whether it’s about the surgical side or anything else, feel free to ask if you’re curious!! I’ll answer everything I know with all the information I have. Sympathy emoticon Translating Will you save this review? +0 This review is a surgery review that pursues natural beauty.
