Double-Jaw Surgery Reviews

Review of double-jaw surgery and facial contouring

I had orthodontic treatment for malocclusion when I was young, but after becoming an adult, every time I took an ID photo the malocclusion showed, so it became a complex for me, and I began seriously considering double-jaw and contouring surgery. I was undergoing orthodontic treatment at a hospital in Jeonju, and the doctor there recommended Director Kim Do-seop at Reface Dental Hospital. Before surgery, I had several tests and consulted with the director. It was fascinating because he showed and explained, through 3D simulation, the improved facial shape with the chin tip and square jaw corrected. After that, I also consulted with the counseling manager, and it was nice because she kindly explained everything in detail. I was scared when entering the operating room, but when I opened my eyes, the surgery was over and I was in the hospital room. During hospitalization, I was cared for so attentively by the director and nurses, and I stayed very comfortably. (More comfortable than a hotel staycation.) But after discharge, when I saw my face extremely swollen, I was startled, and because I couldn’t imagine how it would look after the swelling went down, I felt a little anxious. I usually don’t look in the mirror, but from then on, because I was worried, I started looking in the mirror more often. As time passed and the lines hidden under the swelling began to show, these days I’m surprised when I see myself in the mirror. I’m currently at 2 months, and compared with before surgery, my facial line, which had asymmetry and protrusion, has become softer. Up until the 1-month mark, I couldn’t open my mouth much and chewing was difficult, but now at 2 months, I can eat everything as long as it isn’t very tough or hard. Before surgery, my dental occlusion didn’t fit, so I was uncomfortable every time I ate, but now my occlusion fits, so I eat well while feeling moved every time I chew. I had been thinking about double-jaw surgery for almost 30 years, and because Director Kim Do-seop performed the surgery well, I think I’m glad I had the surgery even now. (The part I like most - the professor personally does everything from the start of surgery through the final suturing.) Rather than spending your prettiest years hesitating to take photos and worrying about whether to have surgery or which hospital to go to, as I did, if you are a case that needs surgery, I hope you do it even a little sooner and enjoy your time more beautifully. And if you are considering surgery, I strongly recommend Director Kim Do-seop at Reface. (Because I think if something is good after trying it, it’s right to let many people know.....)
