Sigh It’s day 5 after surgery I had surgery on the 25th, in the evening. I had 3 mm silicone, ear cartilage for the nasal tip, and osteotomy Then on the 27th, the gauze was removed~~ Today, the 30th, I went in. The swelling had gone down a lot, and there was almost no bruising,,, (during the first surgery, bruising was severe)... And even after the gauze removal, I had nasal congestion almost continuously, so I kept breathing through my mouth When I went today, they took off the splint, said there was blood pooling inside my nose, squeezed it out and drew it out with a syringe, then put the splint back on. My nose opened up a little, but after I came home it got blocked again... I think the blood has pooled again.. Why does this happen? Is there anyone who has had surgery or any doctors here? I searched on Naver but nothing detailed comes up. They say if it continues, it has to be removed...() Sigh Is it because I had an osteotomy? I had an osteotomy during the first surgery too, and even though swelling and bruising were worse then, there was no blood pooling... If this happens several more times, do they have to perform removal surgery? Oh, and I didn’t do cold compresses very often. I did them diligently for about the first 3 days, then after that about 10-20 minutes a day. For food, I avoided greasy foods Please tell me care methods and what I need to be careful about.
