Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

3 months after revision with autologous costal cartilage

It’s already been 3 months since my revision rhinoplasty It feels like just yesterday that I was shaking with anxiety every single day, but I’ve been living so calmly and well, then suddenly thought of this community and came to leave a post.. My scar, my condition, and my mind and body have all stabilized a lot, so these days I even drink beer and I’ve also gained enough peace of mind to gently put my pinky finger into my nostril Since my nose shape changed, my overall impression changed a little too Sometimes my face feels awkward and unfamiliar to me, but my condition is better than with my old nose (it looks more natural), so I’m satisfied As if by magic, my columella has also become a bit softer..(so moving..) The one thing I’m disappointed about is that the scar under my chest is really big~~ I don’t think it’ll get smaller or disappear either ㅠㅠ To ramble about a few things, I wish they had told me before surgery that recovery would take quite a long time, but the consultant and doctor who cleverly dodged the answer by saying it depends on the person are so annoying Around a month and a half in, both sides of my alar area still hurt, and when I was anxious because I couldn’t smile, I had a long consultation Only then did they say, as if it were really nothing at all, that it would take 1 year until it feels completely fine, and that even in daily life I should be a bit careful and not laugh too broadly Anyway, with autologous costal cartilage, it’s good to think of the recovery period as really generous With nasolabial angle correction too, smiling can feel awkward for the whole year, so please think carefully Before, when I had nose surgery and was lying in bed depressed and covered in bruises, I watched a nose surgery vlog by a woman called Bbang’s Trip and laughed so much, you know? She was so funny and positive that it helped me mentally too.. but not long ago, a video of her revision surgery was uploaded again Her nose had become crooked and the nasal tip had turned red, so it seems she did it again before even a year had passed.. She was still a positive person, but I was shocked watching it.. I hope everyone finds a good place and definitely succeeds with revision surgery If you haven’t had nose surgery yet, unless you truly hate your nose, don’t get surgery ㅜㅜㅜ
