It’s already been 3 months since my revision rhinoplasty It feels like just yesterday that I was shaking with anxiety every single day, but I’ve been living so calmly and well, then suddenly thought of this community and came to leave a post.. My scar, my condition, and my mind and body have all stabilized a lot, so these days I even drink beer and I’ve also gained enough peace of mind to gently put my pinky finger into my nostril Since my nose shape changed, my overall impression changed a little too Sometimes my face feels awkward and unfamiliar to me, but my condition is better than with my old nose (it looks more natural), so I’m satisfied As if by magic, my columella has also become a bit softer..(so moving..) The one thing I’m disappointed about is that the scar under my chest is really big~~ I don’t think it’ll get smaller or disappear either ㅠㅠ To ramble about a few things, I wish they had told me before surgery that recovery would take quite a long time, but the consultant and doctor who cleverly dodged the answer by saying it depends on the person are so annoying Around a month and a half in, both sides of my alar area still hurt, and when I was anxious because I couldn’t smile, I had a long consultation Only then did they say, as if it were really nothing at all, that it would take 1 year until it feels completely fine, and that even in daily life I should be a bit careful and not laugh too broadly Anyway, with autologous costal cartilage, it’s good to think of the recovery period as really generous With nasolabial angle correction too, smiling can feel awkward for the whole year, so please think carefully Before, when I had nose surgery and was lying in bed depressed and covered in bruises, I watched a nose surgery vlog by a woman called Bbang’s Trip and laughed so much, you know? She was so funny and positive that it helped me mentally too.. but not long ago, a video of her revision surgery was uploaded again Her nose had become crooked and the nasal tip had turned red, so it seems she did it again before even a year had passed.. She was still a positive person, but I was shocked watching it.. I hope everyone finds a good place and definitely succeeds with revision surgery If you haven’t had nose surgery yet, unless you truly hate your nose, don’t get surgery ㅜㅜㅜ
봉이온 What does it mean not to laugh too broadly? Is it because it might shift out of place..? Isn’t the fixation strength pretty strong over a year.. I’m having revision surgery with autologous costal cartilage the week after next, and I’m so anxious. They say the rib area really hurts. Was recovery very hard?? They say you wear an abdominal binder so blood doesn’t pool around the rib area. Wasn’t that uncomfortable??
히녹 [@Bongion] I think it’s both because the shape could shift and because it stimulates the whole surgical area overall. When you laugh out loud, more of the facial muscles are used than you’d think! And for me, it felt like my nose was flipping upward, so I would stop mid-laugh and space out for a while (almost had a panic attack…) As for the surgical area, even lying down and getting up hurt a lot until one month, and the abdominal binder was so uncomfortable too.. Until 3 months, I was scared of the wound area, so I couldn’t even stretch~~ But I think my stitched area is much longer than other people’s! Hope your surgery goes well..
뼝뼝 I also watched that person’s video just a few days after getting my nose done, and I laughed so hard my nose almost crumpled, so I got really startledㅠ

- Review: I’m seriously super satisfied right now - Contracture phase: I don’t even know if it has come yet; I still don’t know whether it hasn’t come or already did (about a week ago, my nose was hard for 2-3 days... maybe that was it..)-
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoApr 29 I was quoted 23 million won... is this right...
I got quoted 23 million won at OO for all autologous costal cartilage.. They say it would be 18 million if I write a review ㅠㅠ Is this right? Since I have a history of 3 surgeries if I include the AS revision, I expected it to be in the ten
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoApr 29 How is ㅊㅁ??
It seems like ㅊㅁ does removals regardless of the timing. Has anyone here had a removal or surgery there??
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoApr 29 Complete removal after one month due to nasal inflammation
I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoApr 29 I’m deciding between Asan and RU! Has anyone had surgery at Asan?ˀ̣
My nose had inflammation, so everything has been removed, and I think there’s still a little inflammation left. Considering that, I feel like Asan might be the right choice, but I’m so torn because I don’t know if the shape will turn out pr
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoApr 29 Can contracture also occur with implant-free autologous costal cartilage?
Just as the title says…..
