This is my one-month review after zygoma pin removal! After the pin removal surgery, the swelling naturally went down over time, and now my appearance has returned to almost the same as before surgery. I recovered naturally without the cheek sagging I was most worried about, so I got a very satisfying result. Now it doesn’t look like I had surgery, and the uncomfortable part is gone, so daily life has become much more comfortable. My biggest concern before surgery was whether some pins might be left behind. I was also anxious about whether swelling after pin removal would be severe or last a long time, and whether any unexpected side effects might occur. Fortunately, through a thorough consultation with the director before surgery, I was able to hear detailed explanations, and thanks to that I could gradually feel more at ease. The biggest change I felt during the recovery process after surgery was being freed from the anxiety that “the pins must be removed.” The hard foreign-body sensation I felt whenever I touched my face disappeared, and as the area that had always bothered me was gone, daily life became much more comfortable. Mentally, the burden also decreased, so I felt much lighter, and in the end, I think it was a very good choice. There were several reasons I chose Arc Plastic Surgery Clinic, but above all, I trusted it a lot because it is a hospital that specializes in pin removal. In fact, from the preoperative consultation to the postoperative progress check, the director checked everything carefully, and I was able to feel reassured because he kindly and thoroughly explained the parts I was curious about. In particular, since posterior zygoma shaving was also performed together, it was very helpful to receive clear guidance on how much could be done. The consultant and nurses were also all kind, and I was grateful that they were considerate so I wouldn’t feel nervous on the day of surgery. The overall atmosphere of the hospital was also calm and stable, so it helped a lot in easing the anxiety I had before surgery.
