Double-Jaw Surgery Reviews@jaw-review

11 months after facial contouring and double-jaw surgery to improve a protruding jaw and malocclusion

It’s already been 11 months since my double-jaw surgery! Time really flies. These days, every time I look in the mirror, I feel so happy because I finally think, “This really looks like my own face.” My side-profile line has changed so noticeably that I’ve gained confidence when taking selfies, and before, I used to insist on hairstyles that covered my face, but now I can tie my hair up or wear styles that show my ears without feeling burdened! ^_^ I have almost no discomfort in daily life, and I feel like my recovery has gone really well at this point. In the past, the foreign-body sensation bothered me a lot, but now that worry has almost disappeared. As for food, I can eat almost everything pretty well. I started eating hard foods or foods that need a lot of chewing carefully, and now I can chew meat well too, with no major discomfort when eating. Foods that require chewing for a long time still make my jaw feel slightly tired, but my satisfaction is high enough that I can accept that! Now that I’m entering my 11th month after double-jaw surgery, I can barely even remember my pre-surgery face, and people around me often say they thought my face had always looked like this. Along with the natural change in my appearance, I’ve gained a lot of confidence, and my quality of life has really improved so much. At this point, I think maintenance and care are more important than the word recovery. Now, with one year coming up, I really feel that deciding to have double-jaw surgery was such a good choice!!!
