Wearing a retainer just for this is too much hassle 3. I do not recommend it if it is just for appearance 4. If you do not wear the retainer, the gap opens back up as before, and you just become someone who experienced orthodontic treatment Unless you are struggling with things like snaggle teeth, or unless it interferes with daily life, I recommend not doing it...
