Six months after having silicone, ear cartilage, and extension surgery, the nasal tip was drooping as if it was about to become a parrot beak, one nostril was blocked, I couldn’t breathe, and there was nothing satisfying about the nose surgery, so I lived in hiding and decided to have it removed. I went to the hospital that performed the surgery for a consultation, and they said the nasal tip had drooped because of the weight of the implant, and likewise it had shifted to one sideㅎ so one nostril was blocked, and they said they would revise it. So I said I wanted removal, and they kept insisting only on revision until the end, saying it would be completely ruined. Then they said if I wanted it that badly, I should sign a pledge saying I wouldn’t raise any objections even if it got ruined, and that removal was nothing much and they could just take everything out. When I asked about cartilage repositioning, they said things like that are all useless. Huh... I was truly dumbfounded, so I thought I should look elsewhere. At first they said they were famous for revision surgery and would make sure I wouldn’t need any more surgery, but after they left me like this, I said I couldn’t have surgery there and asked what they would do about what went wrong, whether they would at least refund me. They said they couldn’t do that, but they would revise it. Even though they said they would make sure I wouldn’t need revision surgery, it turned out like this, so just thinking about what it would be like after a surgery they perform while saying it will get ruined made me completely lose trust. So I had a consultation elsewhere, and they said it wouldn’t collapse or be ruined, but that it just couldn’t go back exactly the same as before. They said after having surgery once, it would be a little different from my original nose. So I made a reservation and came back. Since it already looks like this with an implant in, I thought that even if I can’t fully return to my original nose, it will probably look better than now. That place that claims to have lots of revision experience told me to come if I wanted removal, even though they said it would be ruined... I’m so angry. Oh, and they said to pay 800,000 won for removal, saying it was for anesthesia fees and whatever else. The surgery fee is several times higher, but it’s better to do it elsewhere, right? I really don’t know what to trust anymore, and I feel anxious.
