I am a man in my late 30s, and I came to know Director ㅇㅁㅎ through something I heard from a fellow member who is active with me on the free board in the audio and music field. After I had surgery for a square jaw in Apgujeong around this time last year, I posted on the board saying that doctor was really good at surgery. So in June, I contacted that member again, told him I wanted to have surgery with his older brother (Director ㅇ), went to ㅂㅊ for a consultation, thought he was indeed someone I could trust, and made a surgery reservation. I had already undergone two surgeries involving cutting into my face and shaving bone: an implant procedure and square-jaw surgery. Because of that, I thought how important a surgeon's skill and precision are in surgical procedures, including dental and plastic surgery, and also that plastic surgery, in addition to that, must have the ability to create natural beauty suited to the individual, and that a doctor's sincerity and honesty as the person treating the patient are also things that cannot be overlooked. At the consultation, I judged that Director ㅇ would be that kind of person too, so I asked, since you are an expert, please create a nose shape that suits my face, and decided not to go see any other doctors and booked surgery with him. During the consultation, I asked Director ㅇ to make my nose in a shape that suits my face, but since the bridge between my eyebrows is weak, to enhance it prominently, and also asked him to treat the rhinitis I have had for a long time due to a deviated septum. He said that because my skin is thin, he could not raise it too high, but he would raise it within a range that would not put strain on the ㅂㅈㅇ, etc., and after examining my nose, he said my deviated septum was only mild, so it would be better not to touch it unnecessarily. (From what I have heard as well, a deviated septum can recur even after surgery, and in many cases it is better not to operate.) As for the bridge implant, he said that even if the most common silicone were used, it would be possible to make it natural and without any ㅂㅈㅇ at all, so there was no need to use more expensive Gore-Tex, etc. (I think this kind of answer reflected the director's experience and ability to a great extent.) Unlike the square-jaw surgery I had last year under general anesthesia, the nose surgery I received from Director ㅇ this time involved shaving down the hump and building height with silicone and ear cartilage, so it was done under sedation and local anesthesia. While I was undergoing the surgery, although I could not see it with my eyes because my eyes were closed, I could tell in detail from the sensations and the sounds what was being done. Perhaps because my job involves cutting and making things by hand, requiring a delicate sense of touch, and because I have also had an implant surgery, I felt that the process of shaving down the hump and building up the nose was very restrained and neat. As I lay there feeling the surgery through my senses instead of seeing it, thinking, ah, so this is how surgery is done, they really make it so clean and precise, two hours passed in no time. During the week I had the tape on and was fixed in place, there was almost no swelling, and there was no pain. But... A week later, when I went back to the hospital, had the tape removed, and then looked carefully in the mirror at home, the hump was gone and the bridge between my eyebrows had become much more defined, but I also thought it might have been nice if it had been a little higher, and above all, the nose line was so smooth and clear that it looked so natural I almost wondered whether it had really been operated on. It was definitely higher, and the bridge had also become more defined, but wasn't this perhaps too natural... I kept looking in the mirror again and again. Because I work in a field related to art, I am interested in figure drawing and human anatomy, and since I had square-jaw surgery last year and have been looking at the field of plastic surgery with interest as well, I found myself admiring how he had operated on it in exactly the most suitable way for my facial bone structure, neither more nor less. At the same time, though, it was so natural that it felt almost unreal that I had spent money on surgery... However, I was surprised after seeing other people's reactions. At a gathering of peers and younger people around my age (all in their 30s, both men and women) that I see once a month, no one realized at first that I had had surgery. But as we talked about various things, everyone would slap their knees and say, "No wonder you seemed a little different..." and their reactions were that it looked really natural and that the nose line was pretty (I am a man, and I do not mean pretty like a woman's nose). To sum up, I felt that Director ㅇ is the kind of person who aims for a natural shape that looks as though it has not been operated on, rather than a flashy, exaggerated look, and for procedures that are stable and free from risks such as ㅂㅈㅇ. In my case, I had entrusted the nose shape to Director ㅇ myself, and if he meets someone who specifically says, please make it like this, then he would probably reflect that person's requests as much as possible. But I felt that he is a plastic surgeon with that level of skill, a clear eye and firm judgment, and that in every stage of consultation, surgery, and postoperative follow-up, he showed sincerity as a doctor. I pride myself on having a decent eye for people and for identifying a good doctor, and I truly think Director ㅇ is someone I can wholeheartedly recommend. Many people go to Apgujeong and other parts of Seoul's Gangnam area for surgery, but like me, even if you go the other way, from Seoul to ㅂㅊ for surgery, you can get results just as good as or better than Gangnam, and the price is much cheaper than in Gangnam as well. (Addendum: I did not upload photos because my phone is an old one that only has phone functions... and even if I had plastic surgery, my original face is nothing special, so it would be awkward to post it - . - And as I wrote above, I think Director ㅇ is the type who pursues naturalness, so he may not suit people who want a drastic change like a particular celebrity, and the inconvenience of the nearly two-hour distance from Seoul to ㅂㅊ may be an issue for some people.
