Hello ~ I’m back just 2 days after removal haha... Actually, after deciding on removal, I planned not to worry about my nose shape and not even come into this community until it stabilized, but I thought there might be people who are wondering whether or not to remove theirs like me, with only a short time left of vacation or time off, so I’m leaving a review. Also to thank those who kindly answered my questions:)
First, I had surgery with 1 mm silicone on the nasal bridge, 4 mm at the nasal tip + ear cartilage at the nasal tip, and I had everything completely removed. It was done closed, under sedation anesthesia. The anesthesia fee was 500,000 won, but with help from a nurse, I had the removal done for 300,000 won. The first feeling I had about my nose when I opened my eyes was that it definitely felt lighter. After surgery, when I lay down normally, I used to feel like it was slightly being pressed down? but that feeling is gone. When I lay down to sleep yesterday, there was a slight pulling sensation at the nasal tip, but it went away when I changed position. Right now, my nose just feels very light. I can’t really say anything about the shape because they taped it. Yesterday too, I couldn’t tell the shape because of that, but today when I went back for disinfection, I saw it briefly. As for the shape, honestly, compared with before surgery, it doesn’t seem very? different. There is still swelling on the bridge, and the nasal tip is actually a bit crooked.. -_- But I let this go. My operated nose had been crooked too, at the nasal tip. This time it’s crooked in the opposite direction. And the difference in nostril size has gotten a bit worse? Even after surgery, the right side became slightly larger than the left, so when having surgery this time I asked if it couldn’t be done through the left side, and they said surgery doesn’t change nostril size, that the nostril size difference was originally like that, and proceeded. As expected, maybe because they did it on the right again, the right got bigger.. haha But overall there isn’t a big difference, so I’m going to let the small shape details go. Removal surgery is ultimately still one surgery, and as long as my nose doesn’t become upturned or collapse, I’m just going to live thankfully. While writing this removal review, I also thought that it hasn’t been long since my removal yet, and the contraction period has not come, so anyone deciding on removal after seeing only this review should think carefully. Even though it’s only the second day since removal, there have been small shape changes. I’ve decided not to care, but if the contraction period comes and there are bigger changes from here, I think I’ll be a bit sad ㅠ... Since there wasn’t a very big change, I wondered if maybe the cartilage hadn’t been removed and was left behind, but today I checked all the implants haha The ear cartilage even had blood on it ㄷ ㄷ Next week, I’m scheduled to have the taping and stitches removed. I just hope I get through the contraction period well ㅠ But I wasn’t prescribed Rizaben, just three days’ worth of medicine, and this seems more like medicine for reducing swelling. Would it be better to get Rizaben in advance to prepare for the contraction period?
