Please think through my nasal bridge show-through with me

First of all, pat pat... I’m also thinking about nose surgery, and I guess silicone really does show through over time ㅜㅜ If you get revision surgery, will you put it in again or remove it?

[@] I want to put something in! If I remove this, my nose will be really, really low because I basically have no nasal bridgeㅜㅜ I’m looking into autologous costal cartilage and dermis, but they all have such clear pros and cons ㅜㅜ

[@Usamomo] Nasal bridge filler spreads. After 1-2 years, it’s already spread. Doing filler as an alternative after nose surgery makes no sense. Maybe if you hadn’t had surgery at all.

[@Usamomo] It has nothing to do with whether it’s low or high. Filler spreads from the start. That’s why if you get filler, the nose gets bulky later. If you don’t know that and think it got lower because it was absorbed, then the more retouches you do, the bulkier it keeps getting. It just spreads. There are no conditions.

[@Usamomo] I’m thinking about it!! It’s been 8 years, and for more than about 5 years I was really satisfied, so I’m considering going back, but the surgeon who operated..? isn’t at this clinic anymore, and somehow the recent reviews are a bit mixed ㅠㅠ Still, would it be better to go?

If it’s not very visible and there’s no problem, wouldn’t it be okay? I think it depends on the degree, but if it shows through even with makeup, you may need to lower the silicone height. If your skin is thin, the clinic may also suggest placing dermis over it, so get a clinic consultation first.

[@Lalaby] I think it feels different depending on the lightㅠㅠ If I wear makeup, the whitish look gets covered, but the crease.. ㅠ And it’s 4 mm, so it’s on the high side ㅠㅠ I’ll go for a consultation soon !!

If it varies depending on the light, the show-through itself probably isn’t too severe, and I think you can ask them to lower the glabella area! If it’s just changing the silicone, it may be possible with a closed approach, so I hope you find the appropriate surgical method and clinic
