If you get revision surgery with autologous costal cartilage, which rib cartilage number is mainly used?? I heard it’s ribs 5 to 10, and I also heard that the lower the number, the stronger the cartilage is. Is that right?? Also, people say autologous costal cartilage can nowadays be done sufficiently under sedation anesthesia too. Would that be okay??
