Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

(Photos attached) Hump osteotomy, silicone, nasal tip, septal cartilage, cartilage tying …

It’s been about two and a half months since surgery. I regret having the surgery itself, and I hate this artificial feeling so much. My old nose suited my face well and was pretty, so I don’t know why I did something so crazy. After surgery, I developed social avoidance and can’t go out unless I wear a hat. It’s not that my nose is particularly botched, but my impression has changed so much and my face looks so messy. The nasal tip feels like it’s been tightly fixed, and my old nose had a slightly rounded(?) feeling like Kim Yuna or Kim Soo-hyun, but now it’s neither one thing nor the other. I hate the hard foreign-body sensation too, and while trying to remove the hump, it feels like several more bumps got attached. If I could turn it back, I really would, and if the hump grew back, I would have no other wish. It was my choice and my fault, but I really resent the doctor too for not explaining properly.

((The top is a post-surgery expressionless photo, the middle is when I’m pouting my lips, and the bottom is an expressionless pre-surgery photo.))

My nasal tip wasn’t even that low, and if I had known it would feel like that, I wouldn’t have touched it. I spend all day crying, getting exhausted, giving up, and people around me say it doesn’t show much now, but I hate that feeling so much. When I look at photos from before, all I can do is cry.

What I’m curious about is: 1. What will happen to the osteotomy or the shaved hump area? 2. They said that even if the septal cartilage is removed from the nasal tip and the cartilage is rearranged, it won’t go back to how it was before. I wonder how much that means, and whether it would be better to just live without removing it. 3. If the septal cartilage is removed, could it become a saddle nose? 4. Would it be better to do it at the same hospital? 5. If I wait 6 months, could the nasal tip harden even more? 6. They say the nasal tip will become somewhere between before and now. Is that really true? I guess it differs by person. I’m asking for advice from people who have had removal first.
