My nose was broad and upturned, so I had an osteotomy, had the hump shaved down slightly, got 1.5 mm silicone, and used ear cartilage. It has already been almost 3 years since I had it done. Aside from struggling with scar tissue in the beginning, I haven't really had inflammation and it has been okay, but it looks so obvious, like a piece of chalk was inserted. Especially under sunlight or lighting, the top of my nose just shines in a straight line.
I want to remove it, but I heard that if I had an osteotomy too, I shouldn't expect my nose to look good after removal. Especially for me, the width is different on the left and right sides lol I don't know how they did the osteotomy lololol You can basically think of it as the height and shape of my nose looking different from the left and right sides. Honestly, the asymmetry itself isn't what stresses me out, but I hate that my whole face looks so artificial just because of my nose.
People around me say it won't necessarily get better just by taking it out, and that I should just redo it more naturally and lower with autologous dermis, but I'm scared of doing anything more ㅜㅜ
If anyone has had removal after osteotomy and hump-nose surgery, or has had revision surgery with autologous dermis, please help me ㅜㅜ The stress is seriously no joke...
