I had it done a year ago haha There are usually a lot of reviews posted right after getting it done, but I think a review after one year will also be very helpful to refer to. First of all, I had my forehead, under my cheekbones, and nasolabial folds done.. Right after getting it done, I was really pretty; My friends said I looked like a less intense version of Seohyun (if you watch We Got Married, Seohyun's face looks a bit intense, you know..;) and said I was pretty, so I felt really good and thought I had made the right choice.. But maybe my body absorbs fat quickly, because it didn't even last a month, damn itㅜㅜ Even after a retouch, it disappeared quickly again. *Still, if I gained anything, 1) My forehead, which used to look sunken, isn't exactly convex, but it looks neater now, 2) The cheek fat under my cheekbones makes me look younger (I'm 21, but people think I'm in high school) 3) My nasolabial folds haven't been completely fixed, but they have softened compared to before.. *But caution point 1 Fat grafting to the cheeks can migrate! So my cheek fat also formed slightly lower. Depending on the person, this can look cute like a hamster, but it can also make you look fierce like a bulldog. I hope only people who think cheek fat would be a plus for them consider it carefully before doing it.. *Caution point 2 These days, when I walk around outside, I notice a lot of people who have a bit of flesh on them or are overweight (I'll just be honest, because I'm saying this to help) but have had fat grafting.. From my perspective, those are really unfortunate cases. I think people like that should first lose a lot of weight, find their own facial lines, and then get fat grafting.. That way it will be prettier.. Also, no matter how pretty your face is, if your body shape isn't there, you can't find true confidence! *Caution point 3 The doctor at the place where I had it done said fat grafting is not for making the forehead super full.. (I had it done at a neighborhood clinic, and that doctor does things safely and has common sense, so I like him more than doctors in Apgujeong haha) Fillers are completely absorbed, but if fat is injected too fully, it can look bumpy when you make facial expressions, so it doesn't look clean, and it is hard to remove later.. + I'll carefully share my personal opinion on recent plastic surgery trends.. (Please understand even if this is a little unpleasant; it's only my personal opinion..) These days, whenever I pass Gangnam Station or Apgujeong, the women there all have seriously full cheeks and foreheads hahaha, plus their eyes and noses.. When these people are done well, they are pretty (in Apgujeong, faces like Hwang Woo-seul-hye and Baek Seung-hye are just... everywhere..;) But I'm really sorry, even if they are done well and pretty... in my opinion, those faces are too common and get tiresome.. And Hwang Woo-seul-hye and Baek Seung-hye may look artificial, but they had such good original features that at least they are pretty.. But what if someone's original base is chubby, with not-great features, and they also look artificial?....... They would be completely unappealing... As representative examples, people like Baek Ji-young and Hyun Young are slim, but their original faces are far from pretty, and after surgery they just became artificial-looking, not pretty faces.. (Depending on the viewer, faces like that may look pretty, but I think most people would say they don't..;) In conclusion, everyone, when getting fat grafting, I hope you don't get too greedy with a convex forehead and plump cheeks, and even if you do it, I hope you do it naturally, like a natural beauty.. And with fat grafting, you should expect it to correct flaws, not to make you pretty and cute.
