Double-Jaw Surgery Reviews@jaw-review

8 months after facial contouring surgery, three types of contouring, protruding chin, asymmetry, cheekbones, and two-jaw surgery

<Before><After>Honestly, these days I’m so happy every day that I often suddenly wonder, am I really someone who had surgery? lol. I take selfies well with the default camera, and I’m still a little unfamiliar with myself confidently wearing short hair, something I couldn’t even imagine before haha. Actually, it took quite a lot of time to enjoy “my face” as it is like I do now. I first decided I wanted surgery during puberty. A protruding chin, asymmetry, cheekbones... When I was young, I just thought that was how it was, but as I got older, my face shape became more defined and I became more sensitive to other people’s gazes. I especially had a lot of stress about my side profile, so I remember always tensing my cheeks and being sensitive about angles when taking photos haha. I think I always had the thought somewhere in my heart that someday I would get surgery~ I went to consultations at several hospitals, but in the end the first impression of EU Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, which I chose, was so strong! There were already quite a lot of people waiting for surgery, and the director’s explanation was so detailed that I trusted them right away. Ah~ I felt like I understood why people choose this hospital haha It’s already been 8 months since I had two-jaw and facial contouring surgery. My sensation has returned almost 100%, and I can just crunch and chew apples well^^ At first, I struggled because of the wafer and had to practice swallowing water again, so honestly there were moments when I wondered, why did I do this...? But once that period passes, the world really changes lol The biggest change is that I no longer avoid photos! Before, the asymmetry and protruding chin that stood out in mirrors or photos are now not visible at all. People around me also say it looks really natural~, that if I didn’t tell them, they wouldn’t know I had surgery! so I feel really good haha. I did gain a little weight while recovering, but my parents actually say my face looks much better now^^ Before, because I had no facial fat, my jaw looked even more prominent, but now my face shape is softer and my impression has become much more comfortable. These days, whenever the topic of two-jaw surgery comes up around me, everyone gets interested and asks all sorts of questions haha. Then I also bring up one by one the stories I experienced from day 1 to month 8 and say, “I’m really glad I had the surgery!” Looking back now, the moments during the first few days when I thought, “Why on earth did I do this?” feel almost meaningless^^ Thanks to my face changing every day and my complex disappearing, I definitely feel that my quality of life has improved haha
