Hello... It’s been a little over 3 weeks since I had nose surgery. I had about 3-4 mm of silicone placed on the nasal bridge, a column made with septal cartilage, and ear cartilage placed in the nasal tip. The foreign-body sensation is too severe, the silicone shows through, and of course it’s uncomfortable in daily life.. The psychological and mental stress is so severe that I’m turning my mind toward removal. When removing nasal implants, it seems the reason they don’t remove the septal cartilage and leave it in place is because they worry the nose might collapse. Can the nose really collapse during removal?? I also dislike the hard feeling of the septal cartilage, so I want this completely removed too. If the septal cartilage is adjusted only in height and lowered, are there truly no disadvantages at all?? If there are, what are they??
