I promised last time to share my review with a few people via KakaoTalk, but I didn’t have any time, so I couldn’t do anything. To help more people, I’ll upload photos by stage of recovery. First, I had the silicone and ear cartilage removed, and the septal support was lowered. The reasons for removal were that my nose became red, swollen, and painful, it was being pulled upward, my skin felt like it was sticking to the silicone, and the cartilage was showing through. In short, the silicone didn’t suit my body, I had subtle chronic inflammatory symptoms, fever, my nose was being pulled upward, and I had a sensation suspicious for contracture where the skin felt tightened, so I was receiving antibiotic treatment and then had it removed. Leaving aside whether it looked pretty or not, I really had no choice but to remove it. I was having such a hard time because of anxiety about the silicone, but after removing it, I feel much more at ease. If you look at the posts I wrote before, you’ll know, but it really feels like I went to hell and came back. Thankfully, now that it has been two and a half months since removal, I’m not completely recovered, but at least I can touch my nose and live relatively normally. Photo 1 is around 7 days, one week after removal. From this time, I was scared of contracture, so I got a lot of injections. I also took Rizaben. Photo 2 is around 15 days after removal, and this was when I was finishing the last injection. From around this time, I took Rizaben diligently. Photo 3 is around 30 days after removal. I continued taking Rizaben diligently up to this point. First of all, in the first photo, it looks fine. There is almost no change in height or shape. Since my nose already had many problems and was painful even before removal, it hurt so much that I could hardly touch it, and the fever symptoms were severe too. There was swelling as well. People who had a normal removal probably won’t have much pain. In the second photo, there is a feeling that the nose is tightening a bit, the bridge height has lowered, it is lifted upward, the inner side of the nostrils seems to curl inward a bit, and it looks blunt. The fever symptoms continued too. Compared with the first photo, a lot of swelling had gone down. Even by the third photo, my nose still hurt, and the sticking sensation would come and go, then gradually started to loosen. At this time, there were almost no fever symptoms. The swelling kept going up and down. The nostrils kept curling inward, but from this point they slowly began to recover. The swelling between the eyebrows had almost gone down, so the glabella became lower, and the nasal tip looked higher due to a little remaining swelling. I threw away the Rizaben. It only seemed to work while I was taking it, and it didn’t seem to have a major effect. This is my review up to 4 weeks after removal. Next time, I’ll post a review up to 8 weeks. Removal is unexpectedly simple and easy compared with surgery. As I wrote, this became long. Please use it as a reference if you’re considering removal.
