Since I was young, I was bothered by my protruding lower jaw and asymmetry, and my confidence was very low. Day 1 After surgery, I kept feeling sleepy, but they said I shouldn’t sleep, so I tried to stay awake. I had no pain at all, and after the anesthesia fully wore off, I had New Care and felt more aliveㅠㅠ Day 2 I slept all day, and because I couldn’t sleep lying down, I woke up about once every hour. I had New Care, drank water, and walked around the hallway once at a time. There was no pain, but since I couldn’t eat, I felt a little dizzy Day 3 When they removed the device that had been placed in my nose, it felt so refreshing lolol seriously ㅎ After being discharged and going home, I ate porridge and felt like I could live again. It was a bit uncomfortable sitting all day while doing ice packs lol Day 4 I took 30-minute walks in front of my house. Nothing hurt, but the nasal congestion was so severe I felt like I was going crazy. Not being able to sleep at night and my lower back hurting so much was hard Day 5 Today I also walked, ate porridge, and took medicine. After removing all the tape attached to my face and seeing the swelling, I wondered if the swelling was at its peak because my face felt like it was going to burst Day 6 My nose was so blocked that I went to the hospital and had nasal discharge removed. Even though it was temporary, if I didn’t do that, I really felt like I would dieㅜㅜ The bruises on my face started turning yellow. My nose still gets blocked only at night, so I can’t sleepㅠㅠ Day 7 The bruising went down to my neck, and I think the swelling is gradually going down!. After a week passed, my nose started opening little by little and I could breathe, so I really felt alive again.. haha Other than nasal congestion, I haven’t had any other discomfort after surgery! After 2 weeks As the bruises faded and the stitches were removed, recovery has been progressing noticeably!!! The discomfort in my face has also decreased, and I can do everyday activities again, so I’m still very satisfied with the surgical results. Week 3 and 1 month I became able to eat various foods, my recovery speed got faster, and my mouth gradually opened wider, so I no longer had difficulty chewing food. The swelling is almost gone, and my face shape has become so pretty haha At the same time, my uncomfortable chewing function has also improved.
