I had rhinoplasty with donated costal cartilage, and it’s been about 3 years?? I think my nasal tip is dropping more severely than I expected ㅠㅠ I’ve heard autologous costal cartilage gets absorbed less, but is the difference really that noticeable?? I know the absorption rate and degree of drooping differ from person to person, so it would be nice if someone who has used both could tell me the differenceㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠㅠ The Door also uses autologous costal cartilage a lot for revision rhinoplasty, and I think it matches my desired look well, so I’m going to go for a consultation. Are there any places that would be good to consult at together for comparison???
신호등유저 I’m also considering autologous costal cartilage because it’s a revision surgery.. but I think I’ll only know for sure after getting a consultation. What about the director at DDO?
그냐가웃다 As someone who has used both donated costal cartilage and autologous costal cartilage,, I recommend autologous costal cartilage lol Of course, there may also be differences depending on the director doing the surgery, but autologous costal cartilage definitely feels like it adheres closely to the nose!! And if you’re adding hospitals, Top Face? Dr. Cheon Jeong-hyun there is good, so look into it
baego I heard a lot of people go to Lowell and Mind for revision surgery too.. I think you’ll have to go there to know about the materialㅜ
즆니 I only did autologous costal cartilage. I had a consultation, and autologous costal cartilage was much more beneficial
귀영어요 I haven’t used both, but I had my first surgery at The Door with donated costal cartilage, and now it’s been over 3 years. I don’t really feel like it’s been severely absorbed or that it has gotten lower.. Of course, compared to right after the surgery, it feels like it has dropped a little overall, but not to the point that it interferes with the line, and it just feels like it healed well

Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoApr 29 Complete removal after one month due to nasal inflammation
I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoApr 29 I’m deciding between Asan and RU! Has anyone had surgery at Asan?ˀ̣
My nose had inflammation, so everything has been removed, and I think there’s still a little inflammation left. Considering that, I feel like Asan might be the right choice, but I’m so torn because I don’t know if the shape will turn out pr
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoApr 29 Can contracture also occur with implant-free autologous costal cartilage?
