Personally, I don't know whether the part you mentioned will improve perfectly the way you want, but I definitely think it will get much better. Even after surgery, you will need time to adjust, but for now, the sensation seems to get more and more comfortable as time passes. I don't really notice any foreign-body sensation either. If you are thinking about the shape, I support you. I sincerely hope things go well for you.
