I went to the hospital today and had my stitches removed. It did not hurt much. After all the taping was removed, I could see that my nose had become much lower. My old pre-surgery impression has returned. It has not become a saddle nose or anything like that. But there is still some residual swelling, so I think I will need to keep taking care of it steadily. I touched my nose lightly, and although it is not completely soft, it seems softer than when I had the septal support strut before removal. Since contraction has not started yet, it is not that hard for now. But maybe it has not fully healed yet, because if I touch it firmly, my nose tingles. For now, I feel good. Maybe because the taping and nasal stitches are gone, all the stuffiness has disappeared. Now time will be the medicine, I guess.. As for Rizaben? I am not going to take that medication. I asked the doctor at the hospital today, and the doctor said Rizaben is not particularly effective. They said it would be better not to take medication, since it could affect the liver and it is a medication that has to be taken consistently for several months, so I am not going to take it. Anyway, as time passes, it will all heal the same way. They said I would not have contracture because I did not have it removed due to inflammation, and that scar tissue mostly goes away with time. Anyway, I will leave review posts from time to time now.
