Eye Surgery Considerations@eye-think

GNG community review

My nasal obstruction was driving me crazy, so I was going around to hospitals. After seeing reviews saying they’re good at functional nose surgery, I went all the way up to Seoul and had surgery at GNG Hospital. I booked a consultation with a specific director, and maybe because I had an appointment? There were quite a few people, but I went in quickly without much waiting. The consultation took a while because he answered all the questions I asked. I asked a ton of questions lol The consultation with the consultant was kind, so I thought I had chosen the first hospital I visited in Seoul well, and I met the director full of expectations too. I said I wanted surgery prioritizing function, but also wanted the appearance to be raised a lot, and he drew on the screen while explaining that if it were raised this much, my eyes could look a bit close-set, and that this amount would raise it just right and prettily. He seems like a slightly conservative style?? For now, I had other hospital consultations booked too, and I wanted my nose a bit more glamorous and higher, so (and I went all the way to Seoul, I couldn’t just see one place lol) I didn’t decide right away and left. There was no same-day booking pressure, and they told me to look around elsewhere too and contact them. I’ll leave reviews about other hospital consultations separately, but I visited 3 more places, and in the end, I ultimately decided to have surgery at GNG... Since not much time has passed after surgery and I’m still recovering, I’m unsure about the result, so I gave expectation level 4 points. I do think it went well!! I liked that the hospital was large and that they provided good aftercare. I really hope I can rest hard during this holiday, the swelling goes down completely, the shape settles, and my nose opens up.. It’s my first nose surgery, and having cotton packed in my nose is way more uncomfortable than I imagined lol Still, I have to endure it, what else can I doㅠ I hope I recover quickly. The surgery was done without an implant, and for the functional side, I had rhinitis + deviated septum treated. For indemnity insurance, before I even brought it up, the hospital asked first whether I would use it and handled all the paperwork. Is there anything else to write for the surgery review?? Anyway, I think the surgery went well, and overall I got a good impression, so I’m leaving a positive rating!!
