Detailed Review After Visiting 7 Single-Doctor Clinics for Revision Rhinoplasty, Part 1

When I went, the director came right after finishing surgery and looked so, so tired. I definitely got the sense that they prefer natural noses When you visit clinics, they usually have before-and-after photo booklets that you can only see at the clinic, but here they told me to look on Instagram. I think you can search Instagram and look there They touched my nose several times and lifted it with a cotton swab, but it only went up very slightly. It was similar to what I tried holding at home myself, but they raised it less. They said my current nose is pretty, so “do you really need to?” but if I did my nose, it would definitely be prettier. However, they said it would look more noticeable than my current nose. The director’s opinion was that my current nose is very natural and suits my face. But because that naturalness is both an advantage and a disadvantage, they told me to think carefully about whether to have surgery. In the review photos, the nostrils showed more than I expected, so I’m slightly debating it... The director’s aesthetic and way of thinking matched mine well, the clinic was clean, there was no pressure to write a review. It felt like the consultant decided first what should be fixed? It was my first time at a clinic like that, so I was a little surprised. The consultant gave me an estimate for my nose, and how should I put it... it felt like they were suggesting a bit excessively many things, and it was very different from my aesthetic. The director was okay. Their aesthetic seemed decent too, and they seemed to like raising the nose higher than what I had in mind. They held my nose several times and consulted with me. Since I was there anyway, I was also curious about eyes, so I had a consultation. Nose: The director immediately edited my photo in Photoshop and showed me about 3 images. It was really nice to see the before-and-after right away. It felt pointier than I expected, so I debated it a bit. Our aesthetics were similar and the director was calm too. There was no explanation of how they would increase the nasolabial angle. The director is on the quiet side, so you have to ask a lot first Eyes: The line they held was pretty. It’s really hard to book a consultation, so you need to reserve at least 1 month in advance. I was really lucky and got in right away during a canceled time slot, so I had a consultation. When you go in, they draw on my photo and show me. The director’s aesthetic matches mine, but I felt they raise it a bit less. They look at reference photos and clearly tell you whether it’s possible or not. Many reviews say the consultation is long, but mine was so short that I felt empty. I regret not asking more before leaving.
