Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

Endless 고민: removal or revision surgery. ㅠㅜ Anyone who had a good outcome with revision…

It’s been six months since my surgery, and I’m debating between removal and revision surgery. After going around to consultations here and there, it seems most places do removal. If it’s not the hospital that did the original surgery, they recommend an open approach for removal. I can’t decide between removal and revision surgeryㅠㅜ The consulting doctor said, If I feel I can’t live with this stiffness from the septal cartilage, then removal. If I think looking worse would be harder than the discomfort, then revision surgery. That’s what they said ㅜㅠ There’s no guarantee revision surgery will go well; it could actually get worse. I can’t trust either the hospital that did it or other hospitals. I feel like they’re all just business-minded. Doesn’t everyone feel the same?? Being scared it’ll get worse than it is now. They said they’ll reuse as much of my own cartilage as possible, but if it’s not enough, they’ll use the rest of my ear cartilage too. If this goes wrong again, I won’t have any autologous cartilage leftㅠㅜ

Those of you with experience in revision surgery or removal... Is it really that hard two months after removal?? After that period passes, does the nasal tip come down??? Does the nose that got bigger because of the septal cartilage become smaller??? Maybe there won’t be any effect because of scar tissue ㅠㅜ Are there more cases where revision surgery goes worse? Or more cases where it goes well? The septal cartilage is too stiff too, and I just want to do it with ear cartilageㅠㅜ This is honestly harder to decide than when applying to universityㅠㅜ .
