Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

I'm planning to remove the silicone I've had for 20 years..

Hello. I'm a 39-year-old housewife.. When I was 19, before entering college, I had rhinoplasty.. Back then, surgery was done with silicone only, but my nose was low and my skin was thin, so the silicone gradually became noticeable.. So 5 years ago, I had revision surgery with silicone and AlloDerm.. About 2 years after the surgery with silicone and AlloDerm, my nose felt tight and painful, so I visited the plastic surgery clinic where I had the operation. They said it wasn't inflammation, but since I had pain, they gave me an antibiotic injection and medication, and I think it settled down after taking medicine for about 2 weeks.. Then another 3 years passed, and just like that time, my nose feels tight, hot, and painful again.. I went to 3 more places, including the hospital where I had the surgery, but they all say it's not inflammation. I can't sleep because of the pain.. This morning I called the plastic surgery clinic where I had the operation and consulted again, and they said we should remove it.. Suddenly tears just started pouring out... I've lived half my life with silicone in my nose, and I'm scared of what changes there will be if I take the silicone out.. If anyone has removed it after a long time like me, please tell me about it..
