For my first surgery, I had silicone + septal cartilage, and it’s been 5 years now. I’m looking into revision surgery because I’m dissatisfied with the silicone shape Since my nasal bridge was really low, I think silicone will definitely have to go in even if I get revision surgery, but worries about side effects are gradually creeping up again.. If I had surgery with silicone + septal cartilage and had no serious inflammation for 5 years, would I also have no inflammation even if I get revision surgery?

But the problem is that even if there’s no inflammation right now, it can develop later over time. The scary part is that you can’t predict that.
