For my first surgery, I had silicone + septal cartilage, and it’s been 5 years now. I’m looking into revision surgery because I’m dissatisfied with the silicone shape Since my nasal bridge was really low, I think silicone will definitely have to go in even if I get revision surgery, but worries about side effects are gradually creeping up again.. If I had surgery with silicone + septal cartilage and had no serious inflammation for 5 years, would I also have no inflammation even if I get revision surgery?
다음생엔카리나 If the surgery itself is done well under sterile conditions, it might be okay. But since it’s a nose that’s already been opened once, it’s true that the chance of inflammation goes up
옝느 They say nose surgery side effects are 100%, not 99%, just 100. But they say the timing differs for each person
익명 [@옝느] If you include all minor side effects like nasal dryness, then you could say it’s 100%, but side effect = inflammation is not true lolololol There are more cases where inflammation doesn’t occur. But the problem is that even if there’s no inflammation right now, it can develop later over time. The scary part is that you can’t predict that.

- Review: I’m seriously super satisfied right now - Contracture phase: I don’t even know if it has come yet; I still don’t know whether it hasn’t come or already did (about a week ago, my nose was hard for 2-3 days... maybe that was it..)-

Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoApr 29 Complete removal after one month due to nasal inflammation
I developed inflammation 2 weeks after nose surgery, so I took antibiotics, and at week 4 I had the silicone removed. But there is still an inflammatory reaction, so I’m looking into complete removal ㅠㅠ The clinic says we should keep trying
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoApr 29 I’m deciding between Asan and RU! Has anyone had surgery at Asan?ˀ̣
My nose had inflammation, so everything has been removed, and I think there’s still a little inflammation left. Considering that, I feel like Asan might be the right choice, but I’m so torn because I don’t know if the shape will turn out pr
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoApr 29 Can contracture also occur with implant-free autologous costal cartilage?
