It’s been 2 years since I had my nose done I had silicone and ear cartilage used. I don’t know whether it was just placed on top or used as a support strut, but the nasal tip is hard, and I can’t make a pig nose.. (From searching a lot, it seemed like if it’s hard, they say it’s a support strut..) I don’t know how many mm it is because the clinic didn’t tell me. I didn’t request an osteotomy, but they did an osteotomy...
After rhinoplasty, my nose tilted to one side, and I actually developed rhinitis and a deviated septum, and I’ve taken so much medication in the meantime. I think there may be a slight sign of contracture... The nasal tip shows through whitishly.. But when I think about removing it, I can’t find the courage.
Actually, I also had silicone surgery on my forehead, and the side effects are much worse than my nose, so I’m planning to remove it together, but I’m originally the type who has severe swelling even when I’m just sitting still.. so I don’t know how long the swelling will last after removal either.
If I followed my heart, I’d really want to get everything removed right away, but my boyfriend, whom I’ve promised to marry, doesn’t know that I had surgery...
(For me, the forehead side effects are much worse than the nose. I’m talking about it here because there isn’t a forehead surgery section, but I really, really hope you never get forehead silicone.) Even just removing the nose will be obvious, and if I remove the forehead silicone together too, my boyfriend will probably feel seriously betrayed.. But I have decided that I’ll get removal surgery within this year at the latest.
That’s enough rambling. Would it be better to remove the silicone and the support strut? ear cartilage together? From reading posts, they say that to return to the original nose, you have to do something like cartilage repositioning? I’m so scared.. I don’t know whether I should remove everything or remove it while leaving the ear cartilage.
I honestly don’t even know open vs closed approaches, but would closed be better?
Please give me advice..
