I'm leaving a review after a long time.
After nose surgery, my columellar scar was severe, so I looked into laser treatment. I thought everything inside my nose had been removed, and I got the laser thinking this would be the last step. I had the laser around early June?? They told me to comfortably watch it for about 6 months.
The conclusion is...
Don't do it. Since my conclusion is that you shouldn't do it, I'll skip the procedure method.
The only thing that got better was that the bumpy unevenness became a little flatter, I guess?
The scar itself hasn't improved. Because the laser was applied widely, the columellar scar stands out even more. They apply the laser broadly around the columellar scar, about 6-7 mm or so? That area takes a long time to recover.
For about 6 months, I went through a lot emotionally. Even when I lifted my face just a little, my nostrils, which weren't visible before, showed more, and the laser-treated area on the columellar scar was also wide, so while working, I really hated lifting my face and talking. Now it's recovering close to how it was before the laser procedure, though not completely. Because of this, I talked with my head lowered so much that my neck and cervical spine area got worse;;; The X-ray was worse, so I was really surprised ㅠㅠ
When getting nasal implant removal, I think the right answer is to ask them to meticulously revise the scar again. Ha... I should have waited and asked them to look at the sutured area again when I had revision surgery for removal.
For scars on the body and things like that, I think it may be okay to go for treatment. I think it may also be okay for people who had mouth corner surgery and were left with severe scars.
If about 6 more months pass from here, it should get a little better. Since I've been busy, I look in the mirror less, and because I'm working, it is improving very, very slightly... but it's slow. To recover from this, I applied and applied supplements said to be good for the skin, zinc, coenzyme, vitamins, hyaluronic acid, oil said to be good for burn scars, etc., so maybe that's why it has at least improved this much.
I learned another lesson. You shouldn't believe 100% of what doctors, nurses, and hospital staff say.
