The doctor who operated on me says repositioning is essential, probably because I originally had a short nose. He says if it’s not done, the nose will lift...(it wasn’t a lifted nose to begin with, it was just short in length). But I’m removing it because my nose got longer after the surgery. He says if I just take it out, it’ll become a pig nose later, so they would dissect everything and reposition it again... He says it’s basically the same as revision surgery. Since they said they’d do it for free anyway, I don’t think he’s saying this because of money, but why is repositioning supposedly essential for me? For those who had septum surgery and then had it removed, I’m curious whether you did repositioning or not.
