I’ve lived a hellish life for 3 years. I spent a lot of money and lived with my confidence crushed at the age when I should have felt the prettiest.
After 6 months, I went back to the hospital where I had it done for revision surgery, and the doctor said my nose shape was the best he could do, and that he could do a revision, but if he did, it would get even more ruined. I couldn’t entrust my nose to that doctor again.
My original nose was high and pretty decent, but it was slightly short, so I wanted it lowered a little. But that crazy doctor used 3.5 silicone and made it into a devil-like nose, worse than an upturned “beoseon” nose. So from the front, my nose looks even shorter, but from the side, it became an extremely high and extremely long nose.
Over the past 3 years, I’ve heard every kind of comment from people around me.. The one I remember most is something like, “You spent money and ruined your face,” haha..
So I went for consultations at 2 hospitals specializing in cartilage repositioning and 1 general hospital.
The first hospital said they would remove the silicone and then reposition the septal cartilage and ear cartilage. The cost was much more expensive than I expected, so I gave up on it and don’t remember it well.
One place is a hospital currently running an ad banner, and there too, they said they would remove the silicone, take out the septal cartilage and ear cartilage, and then put them back in. They also said they would tie the cartilage with sutures. I said I didn’t want anything left in my nose and asked if it couldn’t be done without that, and they said, since they would be taking out and putting back cartilage that had already been sutured, how could they put it in without tying it with sutures? The price is reasonable, but I’m not drawn to it..
I have a bit of prejudice against hospitals in Gangnam and Apgujeong, so I also went to a hospital near my neighborhood, but it looked like they didn’t have much revision surgery experience, and the cost was at Gangnam level, so I gave up on that too.
The more consultations I get, the less I know how to choose a hospital.. I wanted everything removed, but none of the hospitals recommended that.. And I’m considering things while excluding dermis..
For those who were in the same situation as me, I’m really curious how you had surgery, whether you’re satisfied, and which hospital you chose.. If you help me, I won’t forget it ㅜㅜ
