Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redo

Day 5 after removal~ I took off the taping

I went to the hospital today, took off the taping, and had the outer stitches removed. I feel this every time stitches are removed, but it really stingsㅠㅠ I have to go back in 5 days to have the inner stitches removed tooㅠ If I had to compare the level, I think this hurts more than the surgery itself. Good thing it only lasts a momentㅠㅠ And after removing the taping.. The nose shape I was hoping for!! Hmm.. it’s okay! My surgery was done with the columella pulled down a bit, so because of that I looked older.. and that was one of the reasons I had it removed. So I was hoping that once it was removed, my long nasal tip might lift a little.. the columella did go in.. but I don’t know if it’s still swelling at the nasal tip or if this is the final result, because the nasal tip hasn’t liftedㅎ And from the side.. the unnaturally pointy nasal tip from the surgical line is gone, and it has become a natural line. If it was pointy when I had surgery, now it’s more like a defined nose^^ The unnatural feeling has definitely gone away a lot. Overall, since it’s only day 5, it still looks quite similar to when I had surgery, and both the swelling and shape will probably keep changing a lot more.. Honestly, if I had only cared about the shape, I think I would have just lived with a defined, pretty nose even if it looked unnatural. It was a nose that other people said was pretty, and it wasn’t that the surgery failed; I had it removed because it didn’t suit my face. But for me, I like the softer line and this much more natural-looking nose far more than an artificially identical pretty nose. Now it finally feels like my real, natural nose.. And the doctor too.. today after the taping was removed, I went into the exam room and he looked at my nose this way and that for a long time, then said, “It looks much better after removing it, doesn’t it?”ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Even though he was the one who did the surgery..ㅎ So in my case, I think removing it was a very good choice. But this is just how it was in my case. Results are unpredictable depending on each person’s surgical method and nose condition, and removal is also surgery, so you can’t undo it.. And because I had everything done by the same doctor from the beginning until now, since he performed the surgery himself, if he manipulated the cartilage in a certain way, it would probably be easier for him to remove it too. So I also think that may be why the removal was done cleanly and the progress has been good. The timing of removal was also 11 months later, so it was after the revision surgery had healed. So if anyone who wants removal is reading this, I think the first thing is to check with the hospital where you had surgery about whether removal is possible. Just as blindly having surgery wasn’t the answer, blindly removing it may not be the answer either.. I hope you look into it very, very carefully, decide, and get good results. Thank you for reading~^^ ++ And the sebum on my noseㅠㅠㅠ I still can’t even wash my face, and it’s honestly embarrassing to look at with my eyes open.. Is a nose pack the best option? If anyone knows a solution for sebum that is not just completely full but overflowing right now, please leave a commentㅠㅠ
