<Before removal><After removal>I had facial contouring surgery and anterior chin tip reduction surgery in my 20s, and after about more than 10 years had passed since the surgery, I began considering pin removal. The biggest reason I considered surgery was, as expected, that the fixation pins show on dental or facial X-rays. The hospital where I originally had surgery had closed, so I needed to find a new hospital. While comparing several hospitals, Contour Standard had very reasonable surgery costs, and after first receiving a consultation, I ultimately decided to have the surgery. I had phone consultations with about 5 hospitals in total; some of them charged a consultation fee and some were free. The cost for CT imaging and consultation varied by hospital, from about 50,000 won to 150,000 won, and if consulting with multiple hospitals, it was not a small financial burden. But at Contour Standard, both the CT scan and consultation were provided free of charge, and this became the decisive reason for choosing the hospital. Actually, I was able to see the director a little later than my reserved time, and he seemed busy. But that honestly made me think, is this place really famous for facial contouring..? After the consultation and surgery reservation, the consultation content was overall concise and focused on key explanations, which I liked, and because of the nature of pin removal surgery, there wasn’t a very detailed back-and-forth explanation. What worried me most was that, in the case of old pins after surgery, other doctors had said removal might be difficult, so when I asked whether there was a possibility they could not be removed, he said it was just a possibility. Looking at other reviews, they seem to counsel some people that removal may be difficult, so I think they probably take a CT and explain it on the spot depending on the person. The surgery cost was inexpensive, there were no unnecessary charges, and I am satisfied with the basic surgical result, so I recommend it to those who are worried about pin removal because their previous hospital disappeared.
