Hello,, I'm writing again after almost a year and a half. (It's long, so there will be a lot of scrolling) My last review ended with: after multiple surgeries, things finally settled. I was happy now,, or so it ended. But after that, one year later. I made the decision to remove it. To explain again, Originally, my nose was a bulbous nose, short nose, and thick-skinned nose. I had my first surgery when I was 20. It was a long time ago, but they did not use L-shaped silicone. There was silicone only from the glabella to the nasal bridge, and the nasal tip was not operated on. At first my nose had also come down a lot, and it was high and pretty, but after 3-4 years my nose gradually lifted again, and the nasal tip became broad. In short, it became a nose like Shin Bong-sun's., It was worse than not having done it at all..ㅠㅜ I decided on revision surgery, but because I was an office worker I hesitated and hesitated. Three years ago, when I turned 28, I decided on revision surgery and had it done in Busan (where I originally live). Silicone replacement, septal cartilage and ear cartilage were used. After removing the splint, it took 2 weeks for the swelling to go down, and just when I thought, is it getting a bit prettier now? contracture came right away. In just 20 days..ㅠ I literally woke up and my nose had become shorter. I can't tell you how startled I was. And the glabella had become too high again.. It turned out the silicone had been pulled upward. I immediately contacted the hospital and went in for an exam. After hearing that it was contracture, I took Rizaben for 2 months and had scar-tissue-removal injections 3 times, but they recommended revision surgery. My nose was so obvious that I didn't have the confidence to meet people, so I quit the company I was working at and had revision surgery 6 months after the previous revision. This time too, silicone replacement, removal of septal cartilage, and ear cartilage use. (My poor ear...) This time it was really pretty. I liked it so much and was just waiting for the swelling to go down.. but the nasal tip kept turning red.,,. The doctor said, it's just because the skin is temporarily stretched, it's okay.. but it didn't get better, and eventually it swelled, filled with blood, the nose became crooked and twisted.. and like that my face was turning into a monster.. It was inflammation. In the end, contracture came.. Solbi's nose was nothing compared to it. The tip of my nose was the size of a 100-won coin, and it caved in, so my nose was completely crushed and looked as if it had been cut clean off. I was truly a monster. I waited 3 months, then had silicone replacement and costal cartilage surgery (general anesthesia). Haa... The nasal tip was fixed, but my nose had become so short, with unevenly crushed nostrils. A twisted columella.. After 1 month, I had revision surgery again only on the nostrils and columella. I finally looked somewhat human and got re-employed.. I didn't want to have nose surgery again, so I tried to live with it, but I hated my even shorter nose and my twisted nose so much, and I hated seeing myself develop social anxiety, so I went to that hospital that ruined my nose and got a refund. Other people were furious, saying I should have received compensation money too. lol After that, I worked hard going around for consultations and had revision surgery at a hospital in Apgujeong-dong famous for noses. (Ah.. at the previous hospital, they had operated so that cartilage protruded in my right nostril., Even through 4 surgeries, they kept saying they forgot and wouldn't touch the cartilage. Even though they made normal nasal cartilage protrude..) I had surgery last June. With the hope that this would be the last time.. Even just smelling the operating room was agony for me.. Over a total of 6 hours. Correction of a white nose. Cartilage correction. Osteotomy, use of donated costal cartilage. .. Quite a few things were corrected. It became a semi-ski-slope nose, the nose I had really wanted, but I guess my nose couldn't be helped. From the beginning, silicone just didn't suit my body. The nasal tip gradually started going upward again, and the glabella became too high,. The silicone couldn't withstand the skin moving upward and went up together with it, so it became too high. After several consultations with the doctor, I decided to remove the silicone. The nasal tip was left as it was, but we slightly supplemented the height difference between the nasal bridge and nasal tip with AlloDerm. This surgery really didn't swell. Maybe because it was a simple surgery, I didn't bruise at all, and aside from having the splint on, there was nothing uncomfortable. As soon as the splint was removed, I was fine enough to walk around outside right away. In conclusion, it became much prettier than when the silicone was in. It is now day 16 after removal, and aside from my heart dropping because it repeatedly gets tight in the morning and soft in the evening, I'm okay..
