I’m 26 years old, and it’s been exactly 6 months since my first rhinoplasty. My nasal bridge was so low that I had been living with fillers, but the filler spread out, so my mom told me to just get surgery while I was at it. So I ended up getting surgery while holding my mom’s hand. I heard they used donated costal cartilage + silicone + ear cartilage. My nose turned out much higher than I expected, but my friends around me and my boyfriend all say it’s pretty and really like it. I took good care to prevent inflammation, so I thought there wouldn’t be any side effects, but a few days ago, I started seeing something like a white circle? showing through on the right side of my nasal tip. Only that area feels hard to the touch. I contacted the plastic surgery clinic, but ever since the surgery, they’ve been so hard to reach. For now, if I want to go in for a consultation, I’ll have to take annual leave.. and I’ll probably need to save up money too. It doesn’t hurt. It’s just.. my nasal bridge and nasal tip sometimes feel a little itchy, that’s all (is this a side effect?) Maybe I’m just too insensitive to notice. I can’t tell if it’s getting red either.. I’m leaving this post because I really don’t know anything ㅠㅠ My anxiety keeps growing and it’s driving me crazy. But also, when I think about removing everything, I’m scared of the sense of loss that would come with it, and of unexpected side effects too. I’m so scared of what the people around me, especially my boyfriend, would think of me. We didn’t start dating before my surgery; we started dating after it, and I did tell him that I had surgery, but I don’t know if he doesn’t remember.. He always says things like, how is your nose this pretty.. lol I’m filled with so much fear, really. If I go in for a consultation, it’ll take some time before then, but my mind is made up about removing everything anyway. Nothing will happen to my nose in the meantime, right? My nose is okay, right?
