Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

It’s been a year and a half since my nose surgery! What I’ve felt so far

I had nose surgery a little over a year and a half ago lol My original nose had a hump bridge (not severe) and a blunt nasal tip! It was an ordinary nose where, if I said I was getting nose surgery, people wouldn’t strongly recommend it, but they wouldn’t deny it either lol But every time I took selfies, I would doodle over the nose area.. and then I looked so much prettier lol So without thinking much, I thought I should do it as soon as the CSAT ended! After the CSAT ended, I went with my mom for consultations at about 6 clinics around Apgujeong? and they all said different things. One place said to osteotomize the nasal bridge and lay a thin layer of silicone~~ something Another place said just the nasal tip with septal cartilage blah blah

I liked that place with a four-syllable name in the building where Brown is, though I can’t remember the name, but it felt a bit small-scale, and the director looked like he had come out in the middle of surgery (just my feeling, but even though it was broad daylight, he looked so exhausted, like he had stayed up for several nights). That place quoted something over 4 million won, so I was like, honestly my nose isn’t worth spending that much money on... and ended up doing it elsewhere.

I didn’t have nasal bridge osteotomy, only the nasal tip with septal cartilage + ear cartilage, closed approach, and I had fat grafted into the bridge (thinking back now, I don’t know why I did this, but when I touch it, it’s still there, though there’s not much difference). I paid 2.5 million won with the CSAT discount lol Actually, when I first consulted with the coordinator it was different, but I deliberately said I wanted to meet the director before surgery, so I met him before surgery, had the consultation, got the exact quote, and went straight to surgery lol Thinking back now, I had nerves of steel;; I guess I was just lucky.

Anyway, the surgery day was in the middle of winter, and it was so cold ㅜㅜ But I couldn’t even wear underwear, just a very thin patient gown, and I was lying on a hard, weird operating table, and I was so scared ㅜㅜㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ crazy Since they had to take ear cartilage, they disinfected my ear with povidone, and since they said they would take fat from my abdomen, they disinfected my navel too (not just the navel, almost down to my private area too ㅜㅜ and my clothes were all loose, so it was even colder). They disinfected my nose hair with some weird stick-like nose-hair remover, and everything touching my body was so freezing I thought I would die. Plus I have rhinitisㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ When they were trimming my nose hair, I sneezed, and I don’t know if it was a nurse or nursing assistant, but she got really angry at me and told me I shouldn’t do that lol At the time, I was so scared and the operating room atmosphere was intense, so from the combination of tension + fear, I shed a few tears lolㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ crazy lol But thinking about it now, it really seems like it was an aseptic environmentㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Asepsis is really important during surgery, you know... If aseptic technique isn’t maintained, inflammation + swelling last a long timeㅜㅜ Because of this, I’m planning to get facial contouring now and I’m debating whether to do it here lol even though it’s not famous for contouring.

Anyway, after that I was put under sleep anesthesia, lost consciousness, rode a rainbow roller coaster for a bitㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ Maybe the anesthesia person miscalculated the medication, because I woke up about three times.. Once when they were removing cartilage from my ear, once when they were removing fat from my abdomen (the feeling was disgusting, f..k.. they were poking my navel with a long thick needle, and it was annoying), and once during the nose surgery. At that time I was really groggy, but I heard Chinese from the side. I think maybe a Chinese doctor came to observe the surgery. And at some point, it felt like there was plastic piled over my face. Is there a step in nose surgery where they cover the face with plastic? Was it just to keep blood from splattering.. Anyway, I was just groggy and blinking, and they said, “Close your eyes~” Since I didn’t close them, maybe they put in more anesthetic, because after that I remember nothing.....

The surgery took about an hour and a half? Until the first 2 weeks, I felt a bit embarrassed to go outside (I just felt that way by myselfㅋㅋ) After some time passed, it was so natural that I forgot I had surgery, and I liked that the part that had originally been my complex disappeared lol My original nose was a bit crooked, and since they didn’t do osteotomy and only touched the nasal tip, the crookedness is still there lol It also feels a bit different when I touch inside my nose, but I’m not going to get revision surgery lol The more you try to make rhinoplasty perfect, the more artificial it can become, and I hear a lot that my current nose is pretty enough! I think it’s similar to Jun Ji-hyun’s nose lol There’s a slight hump left, and the nasal tip is naturally high.

I don’t know if my review will help lol I just wrote it like a diary! About a week after surgery, my dog stepped on my face ㅜㅜ It hurt so much that I went to orthopedics and even got a CT scan lol The doctor said there was no problem and that the surgery was done very well.. He said that level of impact wouldn’t cause deformation lolㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ A nursing assistant there even asked me where I had it done. Since then, it does hurt a bit if I bump it, but I just avoid things and live fine.... For reference, I can’t make a pig nose either lol I was a bit worried after finding out I couldn’t do it after surgery, but in life there’s really no occasion to do that... lol Now I can blow my nose well too (I have rhinitis.. ㅎㅅㅎ), and I can squeeze blackheads well too. Since it was a closed approach, the inside of my nose is a bit different (I can’t explain this in writing). Boogers do get stuck easily, but it’s at a level where I can just ignore it and live lol Honestly, there’s nothing special just because I had surgery... It doesn’t interfere with daily life at all lol If someone has the money, knows exactly what the problem with their nose is, and has a good image of the nose they want, I’d want to recommend doing it right away!!

But one thing to be careful about is that having surgery doesn’t mean you’ll automatically get a nose like Han Ga-in’s.. Don’t expect too much lol It’s definitely prettier than before, but it’s only a one-level upgrade....
