Nose Surgery Reviews@rhino-review

17 days after nose surgery

It's been a little over two weeks since I decided after consulting at around 12 clinics and had the surgery. First, I ruled out hospitals that used donated rib cartilage and hospitals that said they would raise it without much difference from the existing height.

The place I chose confidently said they would raise the glabella by 2 mm and the nasal tip by 3 mm, and I chose the hospital believing their claim that their technique and skill were both different. Before surgery, I also told the doctor that I chose them for that reason.. At the place where I had a CT scan, they said the existing silicone already had height, so it would be hard to raise it by more than 1 mm. Here, without a CT scan, they felt it by hand and said it was fully possible. I’m satisfied that the upturned nasal tip was brought down and that the alar reduction was done well. There was no swelling or bruising, and since it was an open procedure, I’m grateful they made it cleanly without visible scarring. But after surgery, when I checked the silicone, it had only been raised 0.5 mm from the previous one. ㅠ On day 5 and day 10, when the stitches were removed, I brought it up, and they said the position had been adjusted so it was about 2 mm higher than before. But as the swelling keeps going down, it’s day 17 and the glabella feels about the same, while the nasal bridge feels lower than before. When I told the doctor, they said they would give me filler. ㅠ And on one side of the nasal bridge, a red bump suddenly came up, and when I asked if it was a pimple, they said yes, it would go down and be fine once the swelling subsides, and said it turned out well. But when I touch it, only one side sticks out, so it looks bent. ㅠ

The fat graft is also now day 17, and it has become too natural. The initial look was exactly the amount I wanted to remain after engraftment, so I asked if they had put in too little, saying that I wanted it to look like this after engraftment, and they said they injected 20 cc and that if they put in too much, engraftment would actually be worse. ㅠ

I’ll attach photos, please take a look. By the way, can attachments not be uploaded on mobile..?
